PLT Energia, a 6.2 MW photovoltaic plant goes into operation
PLT Energia announces that it has completed the construction and connected to the grid a photovoltaic plant with a total installed capacity of about 6.2MW, located in the municipality of Occimiano (AL). The plant will produce more than 9.9 GWh of electricity per year, meeting the energy needs of 4,300 households and avoiding the emission of more than 4,500 tonnes of CO2 into the atmosphere each year.
The Occimiano plant is part of the portfolio financed in December 2024 by Unicredit, for a total of EUR 54.2 million, aimed at the construction of 11 greenfield photovoltaic plants for a total capacity of 61.1 MW, to be built by the end of 2025, thus enabling the Group to reach an operational installed capacity of 250 MW.
